When is Black Friday 2024?
If you’re wondering ‘when is Black Friday? then it’s simple: it always lands the day after the official US Thanksgiving holiday.
Thanksgiving traditionally falls on the fourth Thursday in November, which is November 28 this year.
That means Black Friday falls on Friday November 29 this year – although some retailers tend to launch their deals ahead of the official date.
Of course, there is more to the Black Friday meaning and name than flash sales and discounts.
But the shopping event remains one of the biggest and most important retail dates in the calendar, since launching over a decade ago.

What deals to expect from the M&S Black Friday 2024 sale?
Marks & Spencer doesn’t technically take part in the Black Friday sale.
However, in previous years, it’s launched seasonal discounts on different categories to coincide with Black Friday.
We’re happy to say that the same is true this year, with the retailer having launched a sale it’s calling Unmissable Offers.

What was in the M&S sale last year?
Despite not officially taking part in Black Friday, there were plenty of offers for Marks & Spencer shoppers to enjoy last time around.
In fact, there were so many deals running separately, that it was one of the top retailers to find a good bargain.
A selection of departments saw big discounts, including fashion, beauty, toys, and even Christmas-themed sections.

When is Cyber Monday 2024 and is Marks and Spencer taking part?

But essentially: Cyber Monday is always the first Monday directly after Black Friday and Cyber Weekend.
This year, Cyber Monday falls on 2 December, which is a little later than previous years.
Traditionally, Cyber Monday was seen as the final ‘online-only sale event’ closing the Black Friday season.
But over the years, many retailers have chosen to launch deals in-store and online.
The Cyber weekend period is a great opportunity for shoppers to make a dent in their Christmas shopping lists while saving some extra cash.
Marks & Spencer doesn’t officially run any Black Friday or Cyber Monday deals.
However, the high street brand usually has massive reductions across all departments in late November, marking the start of the peak Christmas shopping period.

How much does M&S delivery cost?
The cost of M&S delivery depends on what you’ve ordered.
It’s free to order online and collect from your nearest M&S store.
Standard home delivery is free when you spend £60 or more on your order, otherwise, it costs £3.99.
If you need your order in a hurry, a nominated day or next-day delivery will cost £5.99, but you need to order before 8 pm.
M&S shoppers can also purchase flower arrangements, furniture, food, hampers and wine online, but delivery times and fees may vary.
